Equipment Borrowing Policy
- Please make your online reservation at least seven business hours in advance if you will be using the equipment at IHS. Please make your reservation one week in advance if you are taking the equipment off-campus.
- For same-day reservations, please come to MB38 and fill out the on-the-spot borrowing form. We will provide the equipment if it is available.
- Please keep in mind that reservations may be made up to two weeks in advance.
- Tech department will notify you if request cannot be filled.
- Please make your equipment reservation online. It is easiest for us to fulfill your request when you follow this procedure.
- All equipment must be picked up and returned to MB38.
- Please inform the IT Department in advance if you are not going to use the equipment you have reserved. This makes it possible for us to make the equipment available to other people. If you have not picked up your equipment during the first ten minutes of the period, your reservation will be cancelled.
- If you reserved more than one type of equipment, please pick up and return all the equipment together.
- If you made a reservation for several periods during the same day, but do not pick up equipment for one of the earlier periods without informing the Tech Dept of your change in plan, then we will consider that you are canceling your order for the entire day.
- Please return the equipment on time. Please, inform the IT Department if you need to hold the equipment longer than your requested time.
- Please do not leave the equipment unattended. If the IT Department office is closed, please keep the equipment under your supervision or bring it to the Main Office, MB52.
- The borrower agrees to take responsibility for securing equipment and materials.
